Open-End Dome Head Construction

Why can this rivet be attracted to a magnet?
The copper body is generally nonmagnetic. Magnetic attraction may come from the zinc-plated carbon steel mandrel used in this assembly. Magnet response alone should not be used as a complete material-identification test.
Installation
General Installation Guidance

- Insert the rivet body fully through the aligned materials.
- Seat the tool squarely on the mandrel and operate it until the mandrel breaks.
