Stainless Steel Extra-Long Blind Rivets
Designed for applications that require additional rivet length, these blind rivets feature a stainless steel body and stainless steel mandrel. They provide durable fastening and strong corrosion resistance for indoor, outdoor, repair, workshop, and fabrication projects.
Key Features
- Stainless steel construction: Both the rivet body and mandrel are made from stainless steel for strength, durability, and resistance to rust, moisture, and many commonly encountered environmental conditions.
- Extra-long design: The extended body length is suitable for assemblies requiring a longer rivet or greater material reach than standard blind rivets.
- Strong permanent fastening: During installation, the rivet tool pulls the mandrel and expands the rivet body behind the workpiece to form a secure permanent joint.
- One-sided installation: Blind-rivet construction allows installation when only one side of the material is accessible.
- Smooth finish: Precisely formed surfaces support consistent insertion and installation with a compatible rivet tool and nosepiece.
Available Sizes and Quantities
Available in 100-piece and 1,000-piece pack options. Diameter and length combinations include selected 5/32-inch (4 mm) and 3/16-inch (4.8 mm) sizes. Please select the required size from the product options before ordering.
Typical Applications
Suitable for joining compatible sheet metal, metal panels, tubing, ductwork, furniture components, equipment enclosures, elevator components, vehicle repairs, workshop fabrication, and selected aviation-related repair or fabrication projects where the chosen rivet meets the applicable engineering requirements.
Installation Guidance
- Confirm the drilled-hole diameter and total material thickness.
- Select a rivet with a compatible diameter, length, and grip range.
- Insert the rivet through the aligned holes.
- Use a compatible blind-rivet tool and correctly sized nosepiece to pull the mandrel.
- Inspect the completed joint to confirm that the rivet is properly seated.
Important: Joint strength depends on the selected rivet diameter, grip range, workpiece material, hole preparation, and installation quality. These rivets are not automatically certified for structural or aerospace use. For demanding applications, verify the required specifications before ordering.
If you are unsure which size is suitable, contact us with the material thickness, drilled-hole diameter, application, and required quantity.
